Fabio Vanin (VUB-Cosmopolis-SteR*)

Fabio Vanin (VUB – Cosmopolis – SteR*) is professor of landscape urbanism at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and co-founder and director of LATITUDE Platform for Urban Research and Design. His current research addresses environmental threats in urbanized areas, focusing in particular on water, and on emerging urban patterns based on security issues. He also has a strong research interest in the growth of African cities, especially in Lusophone countries.
