Imre Keseru (VUB – MOBI)
Imre Keseru is a transport planner and geographer with a PhD in Earth Sciences from the University of Szeged in Hungary. He is a postdoctoral researcher and team leader for urban mobility at MOBI. He managed the development of the NISTO evaluation toolkit for small-scale mobility projects, one of MOBI’s expert tools. Currently he is working on the FLAMENCO (Flanders Mobile Enacted Citizen Observatories) project to develop a participatory sensing platform and test it in the mobility domain. He is also involved in the Mobility4EU project funded by Horizon2020 developing an action plan to address societal challenges in transport in Europe. His other research interests include travel-based multitasking, the impact of pedestrianisation and mobility management.
