Cristina Lopez-Garcia de Leaniz (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid)

Cristina Lopez-Garcia de Leaniz has a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid (2004, UPM, Spain). Since 1999, she is professor at the School of Civil Engineering UPM. She teaches courses in « Urban Planning and Management », « Urbanism », « Urban transportation and Techniques » and « Urban Project ». She is a member of the research group « Transport Planning » and she is affiliated to the Transport Research Centre TRANSyT (UPM). Her main research activity is in Urban Transport and mobility, but also in the relation between Land Use and Sustainable Mobility, and in Industrial Historical Heritage. She participates in several research projects belonging at the Spanish National Plan of I+D+i.
